Watching the candidate I had volunteered over 50 hours for win the election.

Why are you committing to the Inspired Year?

This election gives us an incredibly important opportunity to reverse the tide of declining youth voter engagement, and Inspire VA is equipped to fulfill that mission. I want to be a part of that effort tomake sure our government is as representative of its citizens as possible.

What does civic engagement mean to you?

It means allowing your representatives to fairly represent you by voting for them, contacting them, working for them, and staying educated to ensure that your voice is founded not only in opinions, but fact.

What's your favorite thing about Virginia?

Its diversity - the rich tapestry of people, places, and cultures that make up every corner of our state, from the Mountains to the ocean, from Alexandria to the Cumberland Gap.

Where would you like to see Virginia in 20 years?

A model for voter engagement with a fairly drawn districts, high voter turnout for local and state elections, and a youth population committed to participating in our democracy.
