What extracurricular activities and hobbies do you enjoy?

English is my favorite subject, so obviously I love reading and writing in my free time. One of the more exciting opportunities I've had is being able to work as a staff writer for a magazine that I was an active reader of! This job helped me reconcile my interests in both current events and English and it helped me learn numerous skills I wouldn't have otherwise.

If you played Major League Baseball, what would be your walk-out song?

Bang My Head by David Guetta ft. Sia!

What has been your proudest moment?

Definitely getting through junior year, it was a tough year and I'm proud of myself for getting through it successfully.

What would the title of your autobiography be?

Are We There Yet?

Why are you committing to the Inspired Year?

I have always been passionate about getting youth involved in political discourse which is why I am so excited to be a part of Inspire Virginia! It is the perfect opportunity to put my ideas into action.

What does civic engagement mean to you?

Civic Engagement simply means working together to build a better community. To me, it's important that we, especially as youth, should be involved in order to create a better future for ourselves and generations to come.

What's your favorite thing about Virginia?

The greenery! Everything is so beautiful here and it's wonderful to be constantly surrounded by nature.

Where would you like to see Virginia in 20 years?

I'd like to see Virginia as a state that values equality and justice for all residents regardless of their identities.

Is there anything else you would like people to know about you?

I am very excited for this opportunity and I can't wait to make a difference in my community!
