What extracurricular activities and hobbies do you enjoy?

I enjoy photography, sailing, and exploring.

What has been your proudest moment?

My proudest moment was when I was asked to photograph a wedding. Once that happened I knew my photography business had its foot in the door, so that was a very exciting time for me. 

What would the title of your autobiography be?

The Interesting Life of a Renowned Journalist


Why are you committing to the Inspired Year?

I believe that millennials need to have their voices heard, especially later millinials like people my age. Since our generation makes up so much of America, we have a responsibility to vote for the changes we need to see happen. By being committed to the Inspired Year I hope to make my classmates lifelong voters that will shape the future of America.


What does civic engagement mean to you?

To me civic engagement means working towards a better tomorrow by volunteering, participating in service projects, staying informed with current issues, and practicing my right to vote while encouraging others to do so as well.


What's your favorite thing about Virginia?

My favorite part of Virginia is all of the wilderness that is accessible for people to use, such as the Appalachian Trail, the Chesapeake Bay, and national parks.

Where would you like to see Virginia in 20 years?

I would like to see Virginia as a state with youth who are involved in their community with a high number of young voters.
