High schools across the Commonwealth have the opportunity to compete to register the highest percentage of their voting-age student population. The Governor’s Challenge kicked-off on National Voter Registration Day, September 27, 2016, and will conclude the last week of April 2017 (April 24-28) during Virginia's second annual High School Registration Week.

Schools that reach or exceed 65 percent of their voting-age population will be recognized by the Governor with the Governor's Award.

Need help registering 65% of your senior class?

High Schools can sign up here and Inspire Virginia will support you in meeting this challenge: coordinate student-led voter registration events, provide resources and data management, and organize your school's celebration and recognition event in April.

Below is the list of high schools in Virginia who have signed up for the Governor's Award through our portal and their current percentage based off the total number of seniors. This table will be updated every Friday!
