I love to volunteer throughout the community, participate in student council, and show my dogs in dog shows around the country.

Winning an award with my dog at the Westminster dog show in NYC.

I love encouraging people to voice their opinions on matters they feel strongly about, and there is no better way to do this than to vote!
What does civic engagement mean to you?
To me, civic engagement means making a change on an aspect of your life based on your knowledge and personal values.
What's your favorite thing about Virginia?
I love the diverse communities, the focus on higher education, and although this might sound cliché, Virginia really is God's country.
Where would you like to see Virginia in 20 years?
I would like to see us in a state of harmony. A state where people can have civic discourse. I would like us to be in a state where people seek to understand, not to be understood.
Is there anything else you would like people to know about you?
I am a military child and have visited over 30 countries in my lifetime. I believe that my exposure to different societies has helped me develop a unique outlook on the right to vote, and how significant that privilege really is.
