Why are you committing to the Inspired Year?

I was recommended by faculty from my school, but when I actually researched what Inspire Virginia is all about, it was something that I hadn't really though about, but was a real issue facing America today.

What does civic engagement mean to you?

Civic engagement is the ability for regular citizens to have a voice in our government and be a part of the policy and law making.

The one thing I like about Virginia is how many different cultures there are.

Where would you like to see Virginia in 20 years?

In 20 years, I would like to see Virginia as one of the best states with young voter turnout and great community-government relations.

If you could tell Governor McAuliffe one thing, what would you tell him?

I would tell Governor McAuliffe to branch out to more high school and middle schools and talk to the students about what his vision is and how he plans to accomplishment and explain how important young people are in the voting process.
